Dancing friends,
The Board has approved a new volunteer role as “Corner Leaders” for Level 1 and Level 1.5 classes.
Corner Leaders would be:
– enrolled in BVLD in Level 1.5 or higher to assist with Level 1
– enrolled in BVLD in Level 2 or Level 3 to assist with Level 1.5
– volunteers (ie. not paid)
– available for most (preferably all) Level 1 and/or Level 1.5 classes
– able to provide leadership for Level 1 and/or Level 1.5 dancers (ie. has mastered those dances)
– willing to lead about one third of the Level 1 and/or Level 1.5 dances during dance parties
Benefits:
– “Corner Leaders” would not pay for the classes they lead
– “Corner Leaders” would not pay for dance parties when they lead
– Sincere appreciation!!!
