That prevents us from thanking you in person for the wonderful job you are doing. We appreciate immensely everything you are doing and how you do it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I do have great memories of my early days with the dance club upstairs at Elevation Place…. Learning what seemed to be impossible routines and that was Level 1! But the patience and assurance of “ Fake it T’il you Make It” and the laughter and camaraderie has made the club one of my top commitments for my time in the Valley.

Thank you Faye, your support means a lot to me. I am surprised and excited by what I’ve been able to accomplish, and proud when the occasional dancer chooses to come from Canmore, Bragg Creek or Calgary to try out my classes. I give you full credit for my addiction to line dancing 😁 and will always be grateful to you for believing in me and encouraging me to become a line dance teacher.
Congratulations Faye & Deb, on the 10th. Anniversary of the Bow Valley Line Dance Club! What a remarkable achievement to reach this notable milestone. Together you introduced line dancing to Canmore & with your strong business prowess, the club has grown steadily over the years. You inspired the members to participate on committees & created an enduring feeling of community. You run the club on a voluntary basis & have given countless hours of your time, over all these years.
When Faye & Deb invited me to teach as a guest instructor, in 2016, I agreed to just teach a one day workshop, due to the long drive. I had such a wonderful time that I ended up continuing for another 6 years! Line dancing in Canmore, surrounded by the beautiful mountains & trees, always felt like a mystical experience. I got to meet so many interesting people & it was a pleasure to see the dancers expand their repertoire over the years.
Even through the Covid pandemic, Faye & Deb ran the classes, following strict health protocols. When classes were not permitted, they organized outdoor dancing, to keep the dancers connected & provided a much needed opportunity for the dancers to socialize.
Your combined efforts have set a new benchmark for success. Well done Faye & Deb – keep on dancing!
Slainte!
